City Government

The City of Locust offers a progressive government and excellent services and functions. Locust operates under the City Administrator-Council form of government.

The Mayor, City Administrator and Council work together to assure that the city runs efficiently. Mayoral elections are held every two years and the seven council members have staggering four-year terms. These elections are non-partisan and voters in Locust have the opportunity to vote on the mayor and council members.

The City of Locust Mayor and Board Members meet on the first Thursday of each month at
7: 30 at City Hall.
