After careful consideration, we’ve made the difficult decision to reschedule tomorrow’s City of Locust Summer Concert Series event featuring Gump Fiction to FRIDAY, August 14th.
The significant rainfall we’ve received has left the event space saturated, and with the potential for additional rain overnight, we don’t feel conditions will improve enough to safely accommodate our food trucks, vendors, and the large number of attendees we were expecting without causing damage to the event space.
We also wanted to make this decision as early as possible out of respect for our food trucks, vendors, and band, all of whom invest significant time, effort, and resources preparing for these events. Rather than waiting until the last minute and risking a cancellation after everyone has already prepared, we felt it was best to make the call now.
We know this is disappointing and we’re disappointed too. Please know this decision was made only after careful consideration.
