Our goal in the Facility Resources Division is to ensure safe and clean facilities that provide an appealing physical appearance, a comfortable working environment, and the highest quality of active play-ability. . While doing it in an efficient and cost-effective manner.
The Facility Resource Division provides physical support, custodial and maintenance services to over 20 different City-owned facilities. Facilities consist of:
- Government Center
- DPW administrative/maintenance buildings and grounds
- DPR administrative, community building, museum, (10) athletic fields/courts, (2) playgrounds, and (3) picnic shelters.
Public Works staff ensures safety and the optimal performance of building systems by overseeing preventative maintenance and repair of mechanical, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, building security systems and interior/exterior repairs and renovations. In addition, they also enhance and maintain the health and beauty of the grounds through a comprehensive landscape maintenance program.
