Mission Statement

The mission in the City of Locust’s Department of Public Works is to provide the highest quality of well-maintained and safe public works services to all that reside and visit in our great City. We achieve this mission through our dedicated team that is created in a culture that supports its team members and through our continued search to find innovative ways to improve the delivery of these services. All while maintaining cost effective operations while providing them in an ethical and cost-efficient manner.

Overview

The City of Locust’s Department of Public Works consists of 7 full time employees. We provide planning, construction, inspections, maintenance, and repair services for multiple division including City Beautification, Facilities, Solid Waste, Fleet, Transportation, and Wastewater.
